The NBS had a meeeting in the North West at Carlisle in April and it turned out to be a great afternoon with over 30 members present.
Our guest speaker Linda and Jim McGeehan got lost in Carlisle so they were a little late. In the mean time a panel had formed of Linda Heighton President, Brian Batey Chairman and Charlie Bowman President elect.
Jim and Linda came at last and it was well worth waiting for as we had a cracking meeting. They had brought a bird in a show cage with faults to the show cage and the bird. Members were asked to try and find as many faults as possible.Our president had to stop the meeting as we were passing our allocated time but questions were still being fired at Jim and Linda.
The meeting was also broken up in the middle with the fire alarm going off and everyone had to clear the building. This added to the entertainment and we had a good laugh
